Momentum sold to Dutch national TV

Momentum is sold to independent public service broadcaster NTR, one of the larger Dutch broadcasters specialising in culture. We find it a huge compliment. So… happy is what we are!

Latest projects!

We are working hard and having fun! We just finished composing for Hans Heijnen’s new documentary about the inhabitants of a Dutch polder and the lifes they lead. And are now working on Anne Kleisen’s new children’s documentary. More info about both projects will follow soon!

Working for ZEMBLA

We compose for ZEMBLA – a leading Dutch TV-programme. Every week ZEMBLA focusses on trending topics in society. You can hear our music in the episode called ‘the pension fairytale’. We accompany Floor Adams’ animations and composed the music right after the leader.

One-way ticket to Bussum selected for TIFF Kids

One-way ticket to Bussum is again selected! This time for TIFF Kids; a prestiguous Documentary Film Festival in Toronto, Canada.

With more than a hundred films from twenty-eight countries spanning all genres, TIFF Kids brings the world of cinema to Toronto’s youngest audiences, along with an exciting slate of special guests, hands-on family activities and showcases for young filmmakers.

See your world on the big screen from April 10-22, 2012

ZEMBLA – the pension fairytale

[vimeo]http://vimeo.com/45628190[/vimeo]For the Dutch TV-programme ZEMBLA we composed for ‘the pension fairytale’. Once we had the promiss of a good pension; a guaranteed income at the age of 65. But what is this promiss worth now pension funds cut their old-age benefits?  Floor Adams made the animations and the programme was broadcasted on Dutch national television (2012).

One-way ticket to Bussum

MUSICA NOVA composed all music of Renée Wilna Span’s One-way ticket to Bussum. The film portraits Rajeev, a 12-year-old boy who lives in the small town of Bussum in the Netherlands. Rajeev was born in India and adopted as a small boy. That’s why he doesn’t look like his family members. But for his parents, he’s as big a part of the family as his blonde sister. Because he’s been in The Netherlands ever since he was two years old, he barely remembers anything from India. Not wanting to forget his background, he longs to return to his home country. But will he be able to persuade his parents to grant him this wish?

One-way ticket to Bussum will have its premiere at IDFA 2011 and will be shown on national television. It is selected for TIFF Kids and the Al Jazeera Documentary Festival, both in April 2012 and travels around the world ever since.
